Snackpac Assembly Volunteers Needed

It's hard to learn when you are hungry! The Snackpac program provides a free, nutritional sack lunch each weekend to qualifying students of the IVC school district who are eligible to receive free lunches. This extends the opportunity for children to receive the nutritional building blocks to thrive in school.

If interested in helping assemble Snackpacs, mark your calendars for these dates linked here at 11 am.  Snackpac assembly takes place at First United Methodist Church in Chillicothe.

Grief Share Holiday Seminar

Dreading the Holidays?

Facing the coming season while grieving can sometimes feel like taking one step forward and two steps back.

If you are facing extreme grief this holiday season, you know there’s no easy or quick fix! But we can help you uncover practical holiday survival tips for dealing with a season of grief.

At this Holiday Seminar, you’ll learn how to deal with the many emotions grieving people often face during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and the New Year. From the video, you will hear real-life stories of others and how they survived the holiday season and other events.

Join us on Sunday, November 10 at 2:00 pm at the Henry Presbyterian Church for a free program.

Call 309-238-0432 or 309-364-2556 with any questions. Registration is not required. The videos are subtitled, and the church is handicap accessible.

On Tuesday, November 12 from 6:30-7 pm, the Circle of Service will be hosting our very own, Andrea Mercier, in a book signing and info session at the Chillicothe Library. If you haven’t had the chance to hear more about Oliver’s Extraordinary Friend by Andrea Mercier, mark those calendars and join them that evening.
